8-Hour Interactive Virtual Workshop:

Superior Presentation Skills for AEC Firms

Learn the Science Behind Why Bullets Kill Presentations

and What You Can Do Differently to WIN Shortlist Presentations More Often

Training Workshop Description

You've all sat through presentations where the speaker has slide after slide of bullet points or paragraphs of text then they read it to you. This is not only boring, but there's a scientific reason why this hurts your shortlist score. In this powerful workshop you'll learn the cutting-edge science behind why bullets kill presentations and what to do differently.

Your presentation skills are likely to have greater impact on your firm's success, and your personal success, than any other factor. This is because superior presentation skills can increase your revenue and profitability by improving your win rates, provide greater professional opportunities for your firm's employees by winning bigger and more complex contracts, and enable you and your firm to more consistently and reliably achieve performance goals by providing more predictable results.

Although this workshop is presented with a focus on winning competitive shortlist presentations, the techniques can also be successfully applied internally to improve employee morale, alignment, and engagement when rolling out new strategic initiatives, and externally at public meetings to gain greater stakeholder and public support for controversial projects.

Superior presentation skills can also be leveraged to rapidly expand and diversify your client base when used in conjunction with a well-crafted and deliberate pull marketing program. And these skills can be applied informally during one-on-one and group meetings with clients to enhance intelligence gathering and relationship building.

This cutting-edge workshop is very unique in that it can improve the performance of presenters with any level of initial skill because it provides instruction in the science of persuasive communication and focuses on the factors that have the greatest influence on success. If you'd like to immediately apply your newly learned techniques to your firm's own presentation, bring an electronic copy of one or more examples of your shortlist presentations to the workshop.

Learning Objectives

In this highly interactive, 8-hour live virtual training workshop you’ll learn and practice the ten most effective scientific principles of CRACOM, a proprietary persuasive communication methodology that will give you a distinct competitive advantage, including how to:

  • Truly differentiate your firm from competitors using Attribute Analysis

  • Shift the focus from you to your client by translating the features of your firm into client benefits

  • Triple your persuasive power by aligning benefits with decision-making factors

  • Trigger a positive emotional reaction in the selection committee ten times faster than their cognitive process

  • Increase the selection committee's receptivity to your approach by leveraging the Mere Exposure Effect

  • Substitute passion for confidence to overcome the fear or discomfort often associated with competitive presentations

  • Reduce the potential for misunderstanding and miscommunication by control of your two most important vocal characteristics

  • Favorably alter the selection committee members' brainwave composition and perception of time

  • More effectively address Q&A by responding differently to the three types of questions they may ask

  • Give the selection committees the clear and defensible justification for selecting your firm.
