Workshop Overview

Within the AEC industry, most supervisors are technical personnel who've advanced because they were good technical people, and they have no formal supervisory skills training. Yet, the supervisor controls the five primary factors that impact whether an employee is productive, happy, and remains at the firm.

Replacing employees is very costly, and many of the costs are not readily visible on the income statement. They include lost revenue, recruiting expenses, indirect labor for interviews and ramping up once someone is hired, as well as signing bonuses, adverse impacts to projects during handoffs, and potential legal claims.

This practical 4-hour training workshop can significantly reduce your firm's risk exposure, positively impact employee morale, alignment, and engagement by improving the relationships between your supervisors and employees, and enable you to better recruit and retain top talent even in a tight labor market.

Learning Objectives

In this workshop you'll learn how to:

Communicate more effectively with all employees regardless of age, gender, background, or other factors

Reduce your liability exposure with a basic knowledge of critical human resources laws

Inspire high performance by applying a situational approach to leadership

Address technical experts who don't comply with administrative policies

Provide meaningful, constructive feedback

Implement a capabilities-based advancement approach

Workshop Fee: $795 per person

Each registered person who attends the workshop will

receive reference materials and a certificate of completion for 4 PDH that can be used for self-reporting continuing education.

He's a highly acclaimed Operational Consultant, Trainer, Executive Coach, and Professional Ghostwriter of competitive proposals and shortlist presentations, and serves as the President and CEO of Performance Management Group, Inc.

Regarding Continuing Education Credits

Performance Management Group, Inc. (PMGI) is approved by the Florida Board of Professional Engineers as a provider (No. 0005276) of continuing education for Professional Engineers.

Many states and various professional societies and associations accept Florida-approved PDH, but you should check to confirm this with organizations and states where you are licensed, registered, or certified, and verify they will accept education credits on the course topic.

Each attendee submitting a paid registration and attending the full workshop will receive a Professional Development Hours (PDH) course completion certificate for self-reporting purposes.
